The local Christian bookstore in Syracuse, New York had your disk. My first listen to your music. I `m sold, I really enjoy it. I've read your Bio., It is encouraging to know there's Christian musicians out there who are not compromising. May the Lord encourage and strengthen you in the Battle. I believe all Christians are either in the Battle or are prisoners of War. You are clearly in the battle.

A fellow servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,

Dear Christafari,

Just bought your newest album today. Am enjoying it very much. Have also been browsing your web site. I'm learning a lot. Thanks for all the info. Just wanted to say thank-you for all your hard work. Your lyrics are very encouraging, uplifting and thought provoking. The music is great also. I will be praying for you as you continue to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. God bless you all!

A sister in Christ,
Kim

I have been a reggae fan for years. To me there seems no better form of music to promote a solid, spiritual message. Never hearing Christafari before, I purchased your newest CD on faith. My expectations were high and Word, Sound and Power greatly surpassed them all.

I would like to get another one of your albums. I am mostly into roots and culture and I would like to know which of your previous efforts is the closet to traditional reggae. Also, I would like to know if you going to tour soon. I am in the Pittsburgh area but would gladly travel to hear the WORD. Many thanks for your time. Keep up the good work and God bless.

HEY MON... BIIIIGGGG RESPECT GOING OUT TO THE NEW AND MUCH IMPROVED ALBUM!!!

I-n-I am biiiggg supporter of Christian Reggae...and this new album is probably the best one I have ever heard. I really liked the "Soulfire" album because it sounded like the classic reggae I've always loved so much. However the "Valley of Decision" album was not quite as good as "Soulfire"---don't get me wrong, it was still a great album---but it had a little more "pop" sound to it. (I really liked the dancehall tracks on "Valley of Decision" though.)

"WordSound&Power" is your best one yet. First of all, the cover with the Lion and Star of David was in excellent taste and when I saw it I knew this was going to be an "authentic and true pure reggae" album. I think the addition of new band members who are actually from Jamaica and the Caribbean made this album more "true" to the roots of reggae. I know this is the kind of music that Mark (Tansoback) has always wanted do---he seems to have always wanted to stay with the "true" reggae sound. These new changes are the best thing that has happened to Christafari.

Another thing I want to praise you for is staying true to the Living Word of God!!! (As you always have.) Once again, the lyrics to all your songs are impeccable and are in line with the Word (Bible). Don't ever compromise or "water-down" your lyrics like a few other groups have done in the past. It seems as though Bible College and Pastoring has only helped Mark's (Tansoback) writing---the lyrics are deep, yet simple to hear and understand.

I also like the short "intros" and "outros" between the tracks --- especially the one called "Selassie Say"....this is a good witness to rastafarians---they need to realize that Selassie himself said he wasn't God incarnate---this was a good touch that you added. Basically, you have delivered the "true roots of reggae" sound with the uncompromising Word of God and you can rest assure that people will notice all the improvements.

I bought your album about the same time as I bought Temple Yard's album---and you need to know that there is no comparison---"WordSound&Power" is so much better and more authentic reggae-sounding...and the lyrics are better too. There were a only a couple of songs on Temple Yard's album that I liked---they were the ones that Marky Rage had the biggest influence on. The rest of their album didn't even sound reggae---it was too "mainstream-pop".

AS LONG AS MARK AND CHRISTAFARI KEEP PRODUCING ALBUMS LIKE THIS NEW ONE, I WILL CONTINUE TO BE A VERY, VERY STRONG SUPPORTER AND FAN. PLEASE KEEP MAKING ALBUMS JUST LIKE THIS ONE---AND HOPEFULLY LION OF ZION CAN INTRODUCE OTHER CHRISTIAN REGGAE GROUPS IN THE FUTURE. I THINK THE LORD IS LEADING YOU INTO SOMETHING BIG WITH YOUR NEW RECORD LABEL.

The 2 main Christian bookstores here in Raleigh, NC are SIGN OF THE FISH and FAMILY BOOKSTORES. I bought mine at FAMILY BOOKSTORES, but I believe that SIGN OF THE FISH carries it too. I'm not real sure about the small independent stores in our area.

THANKS AGAIN FOR A QUALITY ALBUM! I WISH YOU MUCH BLESSINGS AND PEACE FROM OUR LORD JAH AND FROM HIS SON JESUS CHRIST.

Your fellow "Warrior" (for Christ),
Eliot Legates
