Official Bio
Born in 1980 in the bustling city of Kingston, Jamaica, Christopher Robinson, (AKA DJ Nana) now resides in Portmore in the parish of St. Catherine, Jamaica. He is a part of the congregation at Portmore Holiness Church and an integral part of APS (Anointed Praise Station).
DJ Nana recalls starting his ministry in March of 1998 in Portmore at a local Christian talent showcase hosted by Jody-ann Maxwell called The Upper Room. He describes himself as a Christian, a spiritual man of God, who loves to reason with people about his faith and enjoys studying the Bible, socializing, preaching the word. Nana is surprisingly laid back, fun to be around and you'll always find him deejaying a gospel reggae original.
Christopher's recent projects include APS' "March out", "Gospel fi Share 2" and HMSS's "Double Trouble". Nana's greatest ambition for the future is to simply stay in the center of God's will. He desires to continue breaking new ground in ministry with gospel dancehall in Jamaica and throughout the world. However, Robinson's scope is not limited merely to the church. He also has his sights set on the MTV's and BET's of the world.
He has signed with APS Productions, a company based out of Portmore Jamaica. APS Ceo Roger "DJ. Dre" Facey describes DJ. Nana as an, "Exciting artist with the world of gospel music at his feet."
Nana wishes that churches would accept the genre of gospel reggae more and use it to win souls throughout the world. Expect a lot more from this burgeoning artist in the future!
