ALBUM DESCRIPTION

In the vein of the popular "Riddim Driven" CD series comes the latest riddim compilation from the LOJ massive. But instead of boring the ears of its listeners with the same musical track for every stinking song, Monty and his crew have blessed us with three slammin' riddims, which gives this album three times the clout.

Only the best of the best of the Lion of Judah Sounds crew are featured--these are the top gospel reggae/dancehall artists in the Bahamas and the greater Caribbean. From the intro of the first song by Monty G, you know that this album is gonna get big rotation worldwide. And as you can only imagine, the first seven tracks on the T.K.O. riddim are just that, a "total knock out!" This riddim is a unique concoction of hip hop and dancehall with a driving drum and bass back beat. Hey wait a minute, let me hear that Monty track again--Wheel and come again selecta! This one is a boom-shot! Following Monty's "Two, too, too.." on the T.K.O riddim are Reubin Heights, Avalanchee, Mighty Mouth, LJ, Poppa Willy, Mighty One and Wingy Danejah.

But just when you think that this album is starting to wind-down because of it's musical monotony, we are slammed with the raggamuffin hip hop styled "Undeniable riddim." This Track is initially 'held up' by Jireh, but then Avalanchee comes in and 'BLOWS it OUT' with his spit-fire dancehall delivery--say what? I wouldn't want to be this guys sign language interpreter at a live show! What follows are Yankee, Monty, Man-a-War, Mighty One, and Poppa Willy on tracks that are 'undeniably' massive.

The third round on this album introduces the "True Vine" Riddim for tracks 15 through 21. Now we're cooking with gas! The dancehall tonic heats up even more on this riddim, which is my favorite of the three, given it's hints of soca and bangarang.

Overall, this clever collaboration of artists will force you to dance while you listen. If you are a DJ, you will want to buy two of these CDs and cut back and forth between the "Two, too, too," as each riddim contains seven insane songs by the literal who's who of Gospel Dancehall. This disc is sure to mash up any bashment and liven up any party. But these songs are much more than music to celebrate to, they are revolutionary tracks that are inspired by the Word of God and ripe for the ears of any urban youth.
