Hard core hip hop, smooth r & b and intoxicating spoken word topped with heart thumping rock under an urban beat--digest that and you will have some idea of what The Manifestival is like. This debut solo album from Manifest, of Dunamus Soundz Records, speaks volumes on his life experiences and philosophies. When asked why the name, "The Manifestival", Manifest says, "Because this album is my life story, which seemed to be up and down much like a carnival ride." His album does exactly that. He provides the unique blend of rock and hip-hop for the song, One Hope while presenting other hits such as Hip Hop On (feat. Double Syx and The Syntyst), These Dayz, the ever growing popular single, Headbangerz, and She Plaguin me, the latter song having an accompanying video on the album.

Actually on that note I should take the time to say that the listener can party, meditate, and mellow out to twenty cuts, as well as plug in the CD into his or her computer and indulge in three music videos: She Plaguin Me, These Dayz (live concert), and his engagement to his fiance (which I might add was in front of over two thousand people). Dunamus has been in operation since December 2000 and has since produced two compilation projects featuring some of the best recorded talent in the country, Underground Session, The New Breed, as well as The University of Hard Knocks video.
