ALBUM DESCRIPTION
We are pleased to welcome a brand new dub album to the gospel reggae arena! "Sunny Days" by The Daily Bread Dub Band is a timeless collection of 1970's style dub tracks reminiscent of the days of Channel One (King Tubby) and the Black Ark studios (Lee Perry).
Daily Bread Dub is manned by brothers Mike and Jason Gorczyca (aka Mystic Mike and Jah-Son-I). Their name is derived from Matthew 4:4; "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." With a sound similar to Solomon Jabby, this dynamic dub duo from Texas have clearly studied and internalized the methodology of real Jamaican roots reggae (which is obvious by their true-to-form authentic dub style).
Tracked entirely on a four-track recorder, this is low-fi analog dub that you would swear was recorded thirty years ago in Kingston, Jamaica. Mastered by Jim Fox (Lion and Fox) and released by Smells Like Reggae Records, "Sunny Days" is destined to become an instant classic. This project is perfect for fans of vintage roots dub and collectors of old school vinyl. Buy your copy today, pop it on your stereo, and "run di track selector"!
