ALBUM DESCRIPTION
ARTIST BIO:
Stereoman was born Fredrick Smith in Kingston, Jamaica in 1974. At age 12, a love for music blossomed into a heartfelt passion, when his dad bought him his first radio. After spending hours absorbing the inspiring music of artists such as Sanchez, and Bob Marley, he began writing his own lyrics that he could sing over the classic Jamaican rhythms. In school, he continued to hone his skills at local shows both as an M.C. and a Deejay. It wasn't long before the name DJ. Stereoman was given to him, referring to his clear and concise lyrical delivery.
Blending dancehall reggae with the gospel of Jesus Christ, Stereoman has made history with this release in 1996 of the first ever full-length gospel dancehall album. If you are a Dancehall fan, you will love Stereoman's Christian DJ Style over classic Jamaican rhythms and some originals also. A must have for all Christian Reggae aficionados!
