From the sunny Caribbean shores of Tobago comes the hottest new voice in gospel reggae. From his onset as an artist, Positive (born Joel Murray), has seen unprecedented success in the genre. Every one of his singles has dominated the charts (on both Christian and secular stations) throughout the Caribbean. In less than a year, this young artist has been dubbed "The new voice of the Caribbean". "We've had our eye on Positive since the release of his first single", said Lion of Zion Entertainment President Mark Mohr, "In a matter of months we've seen him skyrocket from obscurity to mass popularity- especially in the mainstream market. All this without ever compromising his integrity or watering down his message. The Lord is clearly opening huge doors for this young artist and blessing his ministry." With his new found fame, this 22 year old is determined to stay true to his calling and sing songs of hope and encouragement drawn from his tragic live experiences. "In 2003 my only sister died from meningitis and in 2007 my mother died of cancer", said Positive. "Through all this I've remained faithful to the ministry and have been able to find strength from God through the music he gave me".

One look at the song titles on his debut album and you'll realize that these are songs of a survivor who, even in the toughest of times, has refused to give up hope. While many of his lyrics were penned from a place of pain and loss, Joel Murray insists on remaining Positive and recording uplifitng anthems that encourage others to perservere. "Never Let Go" is a heartfelt 14 song collection comprised of modern roots and lovers' rock with a tough of nyabinghi. Guest appearences include top gospel reggae sellers like Monty G, Sherwin Gardner, and Mr. Lynx. This album is a partnership between Lion of Zion (Christafari's label) and Monty G's Lion of Judah imprint. With crisp production by DJ Frost, this stunning debut is a shining example of the best that gospel reggae has to offer.
