ALBUM DESCRIPTION

Birthed in 1989 out of a love for the Lord and a passion for winning the lost through reggae music, Christafari has released 10 albums, performed in 46 states, 50 countries, before 2 Olympic Games and even played for the President of the United States! It's hard to believe that 20 years into their ministry these gospel reggae pioneers would have their best-year-ever with more shows, better sales and more souls coming to Christ than before!

In early 2009, this massive 10-piece ensemble took a break from their hectic touring schedule to create a landmark album that celebrates their 20 years in the ministry. Rather than resting on their laurels, they wrote a string of new hits, that when woven together create a musical tapestry that is sure to withstand the test of time.

The 15 anthems that grace this revolutionary project are a modern take on Christafari's classic signature sound (all live instruments including wailing guitars, rich harmonies and a brazen horn section). The vast majority of the songs are roots and culture with elements of dancehall, hip-hop, soca and touches of rock. One thing that sets this album apart from the rest is the sheer number of guest appearances (over 30 artists) including some of the top names in gospel reggae, hip hop and worship. Everyone wants to be a part of this musical milestone!

MINISTRY STATEMENT: At the end of every Christafari show, bandleader and Pastor Mark Mohr gives an invitation. Thousands come to know the Lord through this powerful ministry each year. Inspired by gospel music pioneer Keith Green, this album has an even stronger evangelical tilt than previous offerings with songs like "Whosoever," and "Try Jah Love." The project also has a strong anti-drug message with tracks like "Most High" and "Pure Meditations." "Gwaan Natty" reveals Christafari's passion for reaching Rastafarians, while "The Protesters" unites all gospel reggae artists against abortion in an effort to stop the "Silent Holocaust". More intimate songs like "Taking in the Son" and "Messiah" lead the listener into a time of worship.

I am very excited!
This looks to be my next favorite album of the year. Give thanks to Lord Jesus Christ for such great talented "singers and players"
Classic Christafari (and friends)
Love the inclusion of all the bros and sisters on this album!! At the end of the day this album is jam-packed with quality artists and quality music. This is classic Christafari reggae music. It is indeed back to pure roots. My spirit soars when I listen to this stuff. Love the Keith Green-infuenced title. God is using you guys to bless and encourage and tell the wonderful message of hope we have in Jesus Christ. Thank you. And praises to the most high!! AWESOME!!
Review after listening
Mark & CO. have alot to be proud and thankful for this album. It is excellent! WELL DONE SIR!! Rchly layered, vocals are sweet and earthy with strength (love hearing Solomon Jabby singing on Champion) Very tasteful effects, several suprises and very creative lyrics. I akin this monumental release of Christafari as an "all you can eat buffet", and this is Sunday dinner!! You will be stuffed!! (Man I need to get my stretchy pants on cuz I have out grown the ones I was wearing!!)

Wicked Wicked Wicked
I have enjoyed all of the Christafari albums released, with my favorite being Soulfire. Soulfire was young, hip, experimental, and fresh, but very familiar all at the same time. Through the years Christafaris sound has changed, but with No Compromise, the simple elements that made me fall in love with Christafari, can be found here again. This album is a breath of fresh air. The culture tunes are killers, the roots tunes are deep, the lovers rock are rockin, and the dancehall is deadly. Mark is at the height of his singing style with this outing. Instead of an artist trying to pull off a caribbean accent, which can be heard on Soulfire, the man sounds very west indian these days. If I could use one word to describe this album, it would be wicked. Lenny nyartkings.com
INCREDIBLE Album!
Absolutely incredible album. This is, without a doubt, one of my favorite albums of all time, any artist, any genre. It has amazing diversity, tight smooth rhythms, an explosive message, infectious hooks, and unbelievable freshness. God bless you guys! This is a legendary accomplishment!
I don't even have to listen to it!!
A NEW CHRISTAFARI ALBUM!!! That in itself deserves 5 stars!! As they say here in the south "YEEHAAA!" (Well, Golly, I don't talk like that, though) I am very excited.... Did I see that Urban D is on a Christafari Album? NO WAY! Oh man, this is going to be huge. If I have anymore to say after absorbing the music I will post - nuff said for now.
Awesome!
Is it me or does Christafari get better with every album?
