Over the years, Christafari's Mark Mohr and Solomon Jabby have amassed an incredible arsenal of gospel reggae recordings of many of the top artists in the genre. On "Dubshots," these forward-thinking producers finally got a chance to rethink these hit songs and do what they've always wanted to do; Dub the heck out of them!

This album is chock-full of ambient instrumental tracks with sparse vocals and plenty of delay. The drum and bass set a steady foundation as the rest of the elements are creatively brought in and out, reinventing these tracks for a new generation of listeners.

On this innovative project, Christafari, backs top artists like Avion Blackman, 'Imisi, Jennifer Howland, Roge Abergel & Kingdom Culture, Solomon Jabby, Geneman and Dominic Balli with splendid results.

Note: if you don't like heavy BASS or you are new to reggae, this may NOT be the album for you. Dub projects are for hardcore reggae aficionados, not newcomers. This meditative project is only for the most devoted fans of the genre.
