ALBUM DESCRIPTION

Sivion is an artist who brings an optimistic soulful vibe to the hip hop art in which he writes, produces, and performs to all who have ears. His music blends jazz and funk with the hip-hop culture, which is founded on the free gift of expression. Life is the canvas on which he paints pictures of the effects of God in his daily journey to open his heart to the world through music. Currently a staple in the Dallas Hip Hop Scene, he started out as a member of the Phat K.A.T.S. with his twin brother (Wushu). Later they teamed up with Mysfit and Keynote of a group called Teknowledge, in order to form the crew Lost Step (Keynote is an on-air personality for 97.9 FM The Beat in Dallas). Together the Phat K.A.T.S. & Teknowledge performed many shows in Dallas, Denton, Sherman, Austin, Houston, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, etc. to broaden and strengthen their presence in the mid-South region of the US from 1992-2000. After a few shows in early 2000, Sivion parted ways with Wushu and became a solo artist. He continued to develop his material and performed more shows in the region. Later he teamed up with the super group, Deepspace 5 and traveled as far as Mississippi, Tampa, etc. in order to perform with other members such as Playdough, Freddie Bruno, Mars ILL, Sintax.the.terrific, Listener, etc. As he traveled, he gained even more favor and fans, not only from Texas, but also other parts of the US. His venture to develop his own identity as a solo artist spearheaded the writing and production that would eventually blossom into his first solo album entitled "Mood Enhancement". This album is a musical journey of the nooks and crevices of Sivion's heart. The message screams "HOPE!" as he expresses the ups and downs of his life through Rhyme and Rhythm. Many who have heard a sneak peek, have used words such as "Phenomenal" and "Flawless" to describe the album's musical content. Many in the Dallas hip-hop scene feel that he is one of the most underrated emcees in all of Texas. Though others feel that he should be worldwide you can usually find Sivion blowing people's minds at some of the staple clubs of the Deep Ellum entertainment district of Dallas, such as the Gypsy Tea Room, Trees, the Liquid Lounge, The Door, etc. He performs vigorously as he waits patiently for his time to shine, all the while knowing that, no matter what happens; the work that he was called to do is being done. So keep your eyes on this very-gifted emcee and producer, as he further establishes himself as a positive force in this often negatively perceived hip hop culture, through timeless musical artistry that expresses the love of God in his heart.
