ALBUM DESCRIPTION

Satisfying the appetites of their growing fan base, the crew at Lion of Judah Sounds quickly delivers a third installment in their ground-breaking Riddim Invasion series. This compilation album, aptly titled "Riddim Invasion #3: Triple Threat," threatens to pound your speakers with hard hitting dancehall beats laced under an incredible array of vocal deliveries from the talented Lion of Judah artists.

Featuring three different riddims, this album kicks off with five tracks on the "Godtime" riddim. Each artist takes a fresh approach to the riddim with unique hardcore chatting by the likes of Mighty One, Monty G, and Pepper as well as liquid smooth vocals by Reubin and Mr. Lynx on "Straight & Narrow" and "You Are." Pepper's delivery and lyrics certainly stand out on "Don't Tell Me" as he militantly defends Jesus" place as Lord and conqueror in a vocal style reminiscent of dancehall great Stitchie.

The "Hard Evidence" riddim kicks in on track number six with Junior B declaring that regardless of where you've been and what you've done, the Lord is faithful in forgiveness and love. While the riddim track itself is a little less energetic than "Godtime" the talented deejays more than take up the slack, infusing each track with physical and spiritual energy. Stand out tracks on this riddim include "Won't Stop," which showcases Avalanchee's super-smooth, ultra fast deejaying style and "Consume Me," a tight collaboration by Dane-Jah-rus and Mr. Lynx that begs for the Holy Spirit's consuming fire to never stop burning in their hearts and transforming their lives.

"Retaliation," the last riddim featured on this hot compilation, explodes on tracks eleven and twelve, featuring two outstanding collaborations: "Time is Near" by Monty G, Mighty One, and Junior B, and "Choose Christ" by Avalanchee and Reubin. Vanessa Briggs also delivers on this riddim, showing off her beautiful voice while declaring nuff' praises to the Lord on track fourteen entitled, "Jesus." All three tracks infuse the album with freshness and quality that continues to raise the standard of Lion of Judah's compilations.

Lion of Judah Sounds continues to push the envelope of gospel dancehall music with "Riddim Invasion #3: Triple Threat." The best of the series to date, this album provides a great selection of versatile artists, quality, hard-hitting riddims, and lyrical depth that exceeds previous LOJ releases. Every dancehall fan should definitely cop this album for their collection as soon as possible!
