ALBUM DESCRIPTION
Are you ready to go to church inna Gospel Reggae style? Then get ready for Jetstar's Reggae Sunday Service series! Each volume of this exciting series features praise and worship songs performed by some of your favorite gospel artists!
Once again, Jet Star brings another installment of their Reggae Sunday Service series making this, the fourth volume, one of the best yet! Kicking off the album is The University Singers feat. Lovindeer on "Glory Glory." Over an energetic reggae beat, The University Singers provide a full-bodied choir sound that easily complements the deejay vocals of Lovindeer. Carlene Davis' "Stand Up For Jesus," and "My Forever Friend," showcase the vocals, delivery and reverence that she's become known for.
You'll notice that this installment of the Reggae Sunday Service series features tracks by Beenie Man and Luciano. Though their songs ("Gospel Times," and "Sweep Over My Soul," respectively) make great additions to the album (Beenie Man brings an energetic dancehall sound while Luciano delivers pure warmth and reverence), it should be noted that both of these artists have extensive careers in the secular arena and thus their secular catalogs should be avoided.
Jamaican artists The Grace Thrillers and Donna Marie help to round out this release with two excellent songs of faith - "Don't Try To Tell Me," and "Master Plan." If you're looking for a compilation that brings together high quality Gospel Reggae songs from some diverse artists, then make sure top pick up your copy of Reggae Sunday Service Vol. 4 today!
