A couple years ago, Shadrach's debut album "Ashes to Ashes," became a GospelReggae.com best seller. Now, on his sophomore release, Shadrach keeps his momentum going with an excellent new project.

With "Stand Firm," Shadrach stays true to his hardcore dancehall roots (in a style similar to Spragga Benz) while also mixing in roots reggae and traces of hip-hop. Kicking off the record is the title track, an energetic pepper-seed style dancehall tune with a clear message--Stand Firm! Track 2, "Celebrate," lifts the energy even more as Shadrach chats hardcore Christian lyrics over a rumbling dancehall riddim. The dancehall energy doesn't stop as songs such as "Face The Truth," "No Longer," "Thief In The Night," and "Born Again Part II," keep the pace with militant lyrics over heavy bass and bangin' riddims.

In contrast, songs such as "Marriage," "Jesus Christ," "Salvation," and "Bless Him," provide perfect roots backdrops for Shadrach's thick vocal delivery and conscious Christian lyrics.

Surprisingly, Shadrach's incredible talent shines through equally well on roots reggae and dancehall reggae tunes alike. It's no wonder that this U.K. gospel reggae ambassador is blowing up all over the world!
