| Bold statement isn't it? I am more of a roots fan and when I came across Nengo and his Tribe I immedialtey was amazed by the amount of talent this group has. From the opening track to the ending track this albulm will have you feeliing Irie. Do not let the languauge barrier scre you off (album is in portugeuse) you will be able to connect with the music and worship the G-D of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. This album is exactly what reggae needed, Nengo brings a different element to reggae, not since Robert Nesta has a CD played so heavily in my car....woork and home. | I cannot speak highly enough of Nengo Vieira e Tribo d Abraao. Quite simply this is some of the best reggae I have ever heard. Nengo Vieira is just ROOTS REGGAE and nothing else (that's how I like it). It is consistent, solid reggae. The musicianship is supreme! The vocals, both main and background are spot on. The melodies and harmonies are sweet. The electric guitar blends in beautifully and I love the high-sounding snare drum!! AWESOME SOUNDS!! I can guarantee that if you like reggae music you will not be disappointed with this group. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY TOP-NOTCH STUFF AND IF I SAY ANY MORE I'LL JUST BE CONTINUALLY RAVING ABOUT IT!!!! | |||||||||||||||
