ALBUM DESCRIPTION

With a signature flat-pick guitar line and a triumphant cry, singer extraordinaire Dominic Balli bursts on the scene with "Rebel Movement," the militant cry of a revolutionary. This explosive song kicks off Public Announcement, a stunning solo debut by the Southern Californian native.

Public Announcement fuses reggae, rock, and hip-hop flavors to create a sound that is truly refreshing and inspirational. Full of soulful melodies, pounding bass lines, spitfire raps and infectious hooks, this album is captivating from top to bottom. The project is brimming with passion and authenticity as Dominic sings heartfelt songs of freedom, hope, love and salvation.

Dominic is a third generation Calvary Chapel Pastor. His mother is a music teacher and both his father and grandfather are pastors. For five years he served as a youth pastor and is presently the worship pastor at Reality Carpinteria with Pastor Britt Merrick. "Dominic Balli is the most gifted, diligent, right on, and spiritually sensitive worship leader I have ever worked

with..." says Pastor Merrick, "a truly God-ordained shepherd."

Merging his love for the Lord, his heart for the lost and a passion for music that moves people, Dominic released Public Announcement independently in 2008. After selling over 15,000 copies independently at concerts (and becoming a bestseller on iTunes), Dominic garnered the attention of the industry. He landed two guest appearance spots on Christafari's No Compromise album, was invited to share the stage with artists like Ziggy Marley and Jason Mraz, began to headline festivals such as the Avocado Festival (California's largest free festival), and signed with Lion of Zion Entertainment for a re-worked release of his monumental debut. With empowering lyrics, addicting hooks and brilliant arrangements, Public Announcement is a sonic perfection that is sure to stir your spirit!

MINISTRY STATEMENT:

"It's my aim to exalt the Lord Most High, evangelize the lost, and edify the body of Christ through my music. At every concert I preach the gospel of Jesus Christ clearly. In the summer of 2009 we saw over 3,000 people come to the Lord! It is my desire that, through Public Announcement, the unsaved would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and the Church would be encouraged to arise and let their light shine among all men so that the world might see that light and glorify our Father in Heaven."-Dominic Balli

Beautiful
This is great music... good for the ears and the soul. i find myself thinking of the lyrics while i go along my merry day and am glad i have them in my head. favorites:remedy, warrior, and all we need is love. excelentisimo.
Wow! This is quality!
Dominic Balli definitely has his own style - and what a style it is! For me there is some POD-style aggression in some of this reggae, and maybe they (POD) have been an influence for him. Good influence. This album is solid from start to finish. The positivity is incredible, and Dom has clearly not been without loses in this life. I love the beat in 'Remedy'. 'Arise' is inspiring. Don't get me started otherwise I'll rave on about every song. Everyone I've lent this album to listen to has spoken praise about it. In my view, along with the likes of the reggae master, Nengo Vieira, this is one of the very best reggae albums you could buy.
Best Album of 2008 By Far
The Best CD Sold On Gospel Reggae
Interesting and Organic
Alone in my apartment I found myself saying aloud " I like him". At that time my inner dialogue failed me. This is an fresh album with a good modern roots feel. I think a continued walk on this path will open many hearts to the messages within. Excellent!! Big Him Up!!
