Did you hear that lion's roar? That's not MGM Grand, it means that Lion of Judah Sounds is back and they have returned with a vengeance for the second installment of The Lion's Pride. This time around Monty G and DJ Frost give us a slamming "SOUNDCHECK" that features the hottest voices in the genre all on one jam-packed release. The songs are also pure Dancehall with elements of Reggaeton and Raggamuffin Hip Hop, so you won't find any Roots reggae on this disc. This CD inferno kicks off with the explosive "Di Christian." After just one listen to this track and cuts like "Soul Winner" with gang vocals galore, I am convinced that this is the most hardcore dancehall album that we have released in years at gospelreggae.com

Chock full of 16 blazing tracks; it's hard to find a weak point on this LP. Note-worthy cuts include "Run Where We Come From" and an incredible remake of "Beautiful Girl" done inna Christian dancehall style. This cut that is currently mashing up the radio encourages women to save themselves for marriage. This is just what we need to help revitalize the gospel dancehall genre!

This disc also includes some smokin' Reggaeton beats with English lyrics on songs like "Christ Ah Di Way To Go" "What Will It Take", "It's Your Life" and even some Spanglish on "Let it Go". There are also plenty of sub-woofer blowing Raggamuffin Hip Hop tracks like "Hotta Dan Dem" and the inventive "Can't Stop the Blessing".
