Music is a powerful tool used to preserve history, ideas, and philosophies and ultimately shape the culture of the day. What we meditate on carves who we become & often for a young generation, the choice of music becomes the thing they listen to day in and day out & ultimately, that mediation becomes the primary influence in choices.  

Positive Belize Music was birthed 2010 as a campaign to challenge Belizean artist to truly think about the POWER they hold as songwriters & producers. PBM discover and promote those artists who are writing and producing songs that inspire youth towards doing what is right, thinking about what is honorable and yet have fun.

The push for sex, violence, materialism, selfishness, & devaluing of humanity have been the wave of songs circulating more and more from many songs and PBM CHALLENGE is - GO COUNTER-CULTURE, GO AGAINST THE STREAM of today’s music, GO HIGHER. - Let’s produce songs that inspire positive answer, be life giving in a time of death, be HOPE in times of hopelessness. Positive Belize Music is challenging artist to not just settle BUT go deeper and be a positive voice.  

Positive Belize Music (PBM) VOL1 is a compilations album of various seasoned and upcoming artist from Belize such as MessNjah, Jacob Diggz, Dennis Gee, Reality Youth, JahSoljahz, DJ Motivation aka Clipsy, Don Juilo & Merv Douglas. The album consist of genre such as reggae, dancehall, r&b, reggaeton & more, all contributing towards pushing to saturate the airwaves with positive, value base lyrics.
