Joe Ferry is the multi-Grammy nominated producer of such important recordings as The Skatalites "Hi-Bop Ska", The Skandalous Allstars "Age Of Insects" and The New Orleans Klezmer Allstars "Fresh Out The Past". His solo albums include "Skallelujah" (N-Soul Records), "Bootleg" (Larchmont Recordings) and his two Shantytown Records releases, "Big Ska" and "55:22". Joe Ferry's Big Ska Band, featured on his new album, consists of some of the most in-demand ska and jazz players in the New York, including Matt Simons on sax, Phil Wartell and Stuart Stahr on drums, Brett Tubin on guitar and the Parisienne scat wonder Cyrille-Aimee Daudel at the mic. Joe Ferry adds bottom to the sound with his solid bass playing. In addition to ska, Joe produces Classical, Blues and Lounge music - and his album credits include The Lounge Brigade, Sue Foley, Debbie Davies and Bradley Brookshire.
