| I have been a Gospel Reggae fan before it was called "gospel reggae". I only had 2 choices: Christafari and well, Christafari (not a bad thing at all :)) I have seen some artists come and go and some come and stay. The roots/dub section of this genre has many genuine heavy weights like Jah Servant, Avion Blackman, Jabby, Roge, Mark M., and now added to this line up is Edward Holland Jr. I bought & enjoyed Virtual Reality as a roots/dub fan. But, man Edward, what happened between that album and this, "I and I Tunes"?! This does not sound like a sophmore album, this sounds more like a 10th album by a seasoned artist with years of experience at crafting songwriting and music making. What an awesome album. What a great joy this is to listen to which I have over and over since buying it. It has a classic feel to it to stand the test of time with God's message right there up front. Also, the album has a solid overall relaxing feel to it that is easy to have on in the house with guests over. I am happliy a fan. EHJ is here to stay as long as he will make music , I will be buying. *(personal note: your voice sound has the same tone as former Christafari member Erik Soudin - just my own observation) | ||||||||||||||||
