ALBUM DESCRIPTION

Benjah (Dove award winning producer/writer/engineer) and Dillavou (world class reggae crooner/guitarist) first crossed paths while working with, Reach Records recording artist Sho Baraka on the 116 "Unashamed" tour of 2008. Benjah acted as touring sound engineer and Dillavou was guitarist in the band. It did not take long for them to realize that they had been cut from the same cloth. Both artists had a strong desire to use their gifts to serve the Lord, and decided to use hip hop and reggae music as their vehicle. Benjah invited Dillavou to be a featured artist on the 2009 single "Fly Away" from his nationally distributed freshman album Filtered. The song was a great success which even garnered a music video with much recognition of their signature sound. During the year after the single, Benjah continued to encourage Dillavou to collaborate and a group project was born. The Lovd Ones is much more than just a musical group, it is a diverse family that is united through the love of Christ. The Lovd Ones debut album is just as diverse as God's people and offers scripture infused lyrics that speak of God's faithfulness through their life's stories.
