The debut release for this Jamaican duo, "Excellent" is filled with Biblically strong dancehall reggae influenced hip hop tracks. Takes the urban beats from South Central LA and Brooklyn, NY and raggamuffin DJ chatting, chuck them in a blender and put it on Puree and in a few minutes you should have the creative combination that is called EXCELLENT. Long before Shine and Barrington Levy, Bounty Killer and the Fugees and Beenie Man and Wycleff united forces in song, these brothers were blending these musical genres together for the glory of Jesus Christ.

This album is considered to be their best effort to date by many fans that have both of their releases. There is always a purity in an artists first album that can never be captured in subsequent releases. On your first listen the rugged vocals of Andrew G are easily mistaken for the likes of Buju Banton or Jigsy King. Contrasting Andrews gruff voice is Connie Ts penetrating staccato flow. The stand out tracks on this release are the acappella EXCELLENT, BIG HIM UP, STAY IN THE FIGHT and POWER. The album features songs with Regina Wingate, Oscar Hall, and Macho Ortega.
